Symmetrical Butterfly Wings

You will need

Natural materials (or chalk)
String, wool or skilling rope

Instructions

Encourage your child to collect natural materials such as petals, stones, grass, twigs, leaves etc.
Ask your child to lie down on the ground.
Create butterfly wings using your chosen string, wool, rope, trying to make them as symmetrical as you can (you can also do this free hand and not around your child’s body).
Your child can then create symmetrical patterns on the wings.
Ask your child to lay back down on the ground and take a photograph of them with their wings.

Send us a phot of your butterfly wings. We would love to see them.
