Hula hoop exercises

Lets have fun today with a hula hoop!

You can do exercises, practice your balance, and hand and eye co ordination with a hoop!

 

Stand in the middle of the hoop, hold your arms out, and try to balance on one leg at a time. Are you wobbly?

 

Put your hoop down on the ground and try and jump in, out and around, using two feet together.

 

Do some stretches! Lift hoop up over your head and back down to the ground, repeat, up to 10!

 

Hold a hoop up for someone else to throw balls through!

 

You could also throw a hoop over standing plastic bottles/skittles to practice target throwing!

 

If you have more hoops, spread them out like islands, and practice hopping and jumping from each one! If you are not in a hoop then you are in the water!!
