I helped make a scarecrow for the vegetable patch. It’s scaring me more than the birds I think! I used daddy’s old jeans and my aunt’s old jacket. We made a face from a sack (that Iona drew on) and then we stuffed it with straw to give it a big head and tummy – Lachlan

 

Wow, I love this Lachlan.  You have been really busy.  Does your scarecrow have a name? I wonder if you know a song about a ‘Dingle Dangle Scarecrow’, that would maybe help you feel less scared of him?
