General Election 8th June

On 8th June the Community Centre will be used as a polling place for the General Election. School will remain open as normal, however, there are some issues you need to be aware of.

There will be no access through the playground to the polling place. Temporary barriers will be erected which will mean there is no access between the car park and the playground.  Parents, with the exception of blue badge holders, will not be permitted access to the staff car park.  This is no different to normal practice as parents should not park in the staff car park at any time.

Entrance to the polling place will be via the staff car park. Marshalls in high-visibility vests will be able to direct voters and ensure your children’s safety by denying access to the school playground.

Many thanks for your continued support and co-operation.

Monday – Walk to School wearing a fun hat (school uniform)

Tuesday – Walk to School with happy shoes (school uniform)

Wednesday – Walk to School wearing bright clothes

(can be non-uniform but not fancy dress, nightwear/onesies or football clothes)

Thursday – Walk to School with crazy hair (school uniform)

Friday- Walk to School wearing odd socks (school uniform)

Schools all over East Ayrshire are taking part in this event. Let’s all enjoy walking to school.
