The children have been involved in planning for their learning and have decided upon various topics including Fish and Floating & Sinking. A topic on “Under the Sea” looks likely!

Today our elf challenged us to make some Christmas slime. We had lots of fun exploring it while using lots of lovely language!
Wednesday 12/12/18
We had soo much fun at our Christmas Fun day! We enjoyed playing on the bouncy castle, in the ball pool and soft play. We even had a huge snowball fight! Santa came after snack to give us a present.
Wednesday 5/12/18
We made invitations to invite an adult to come to our Christmas Activity Day. We had a Christmas Book Bug session, decorated Christmas biscuits and sang Christmas songs under the Christmas tree.
Monday 3/12/18
An Elf has arrived in the centre from the North Pole. He is going to set us challenges everyday and tell Santa how we have done. We are very excited. (Please ask you child to show you our challenge book when you are in the centre.)
Thursday 22/11/18
In the Forest Room using our work bench and saw, we have been learning to saw like the woodcutter in Little Red Riding Hood.
Wednesday 21/11/18
The Jungle Room went a walk to the Spar to collect our fruit donation. The Spar donates fruit to the ECC weekly which we enjoy at snack time.
Thursday 15/11/18
We are decorating new spots for Pudsey’s bandana.

The ladies in the ECC enjoyed retelling and role playing the story of Little Red Riding Hood to the children. The children then wanted to act out the story too.
