P4 (18-19)

8/11/18

Primary 4 have now finished their Autumn Topic and thoroughly enjoyed working outside in the school orchard. They gathered apples, sorted and weighed them in class, then finally made apple juice with them! They learned about how the weather affects growing and wanted to find out how windy it was in the school playground. They made paper wind socks and tried them out to find the wind direction.

Looks like you had lots of fun finding out about Autumn.  Your apple juice was delicious!  (From Mrs O’Driscoll)

Primary 4 partnered up with P6 to draw flowers from the school grounds before making a start in clearing the Wild Garden.

Thank you for all your hard work, it’s a big job!  (From Mrs O’Driscoll)

As part of our topic we had a challenge to make a 3D spider using only paper and tape.  Good teamwork and good results.
