Dalrymple P2 20-21

Three of our caterpillars turned into butterflies and we let them go at the community garden. It was a lovely warm, sunny day. The butterflies will love living in the garden with all the special flowers.

Primary 2 are excited about helping out in the Community Garden. They have been down to visit and been given some ideas of ways they can help look after it. Here you can see them planting some thyme seeds to grow plants to fill in a border in the garden.

We are learning about different kinds of emotions through Paths. We know that our face can let people know how we are feeling.

We love working together, using our imagination and being creative in Primary 2.

P2 are taking the hundred square challenge. Who can put all of the numbers in the right place first?

We had a brilliant time at our Christmas party. we danced, played party games and had a special snack.

At Paths time we are learning about different feeling and how to tell how other people are feeling. We are working out which parts of our face can show how you feel.

We followed the instructions to make playdough and then we were able to write the instructions down so other people could make it too.

When you work together you can do really tricky jobs, like our new 100 piece jigsaws.

Hallowe’en was a little late for Primary 2 this year but we still had fun joining it on to Wear it Blue Day.
