Please see attached for the timetable for this years P7 Alternative Residential. Pupils have enjoyed selecting their activities. Many thanks to our Parent Council who secured funding for all the activities. Further information about resources required each day will be shared nearer the time. If you have any questions in the meantime, please email: claire.stevenson@eastayrshire.org.uk
Pupils in P6/7 are preparing for this years East Ayrshire Heat of the Euro Quiz! Great team work, communication and fantastic opportunity to learn about the world around us! 🇪🇺🌍🗺
This weeks homework for P6/7 is attached. We will have a focus on rugby in PE this week, as this is ‘Scottish Rugby Schools’ Week supported by the Scottish Rugby Union (SRU).
We are also participating in the East Ayrshire’s Euro quiz later in the week with a focus in class and in your homework!
Due to having swimming on a Monday this term, we no longer have Wednesday’s P.E slot.
Primary 7 enjoyed organising the Book Treasure Hunt. They selected a range of fiction and non-fiction books, which they hid around the playground. Each class had a turn to find a book they wanted to read. Some couldn’t wait to get back to class to read their ‘treasure’. We’re looking forward to tomorrow’s activities – our book swap, World Book Day Quiz and our Vocabulary Parade.
Well done everyone for your hard work learning your Burns poems.
A special well done to our certificate winners. They have earned points for their houses which have been added to the points for the maths quiz and the Christmas card art competition. There will be more opportunities to win house points this session. Wonderful to see our young people displaying the school value ‘achievement’.
Some of our P5/6 and P6/7 pupils applied for jobs as our B’s Buddies to help our children in the playground with friendships. They have completed their training and have been successful. They can’t wait to get started. We are so proud of them, demonstrating the school values of Caring, Respect and Teamwork. Well done everyone.
