Firefighter Skills
Mr Bryce visited all classes today to speak about the importance of teamwork and cooperation in his job. There were some mini fighters in action! The boys & girls enjoyed using equipment and carrying out tasks.
P1 meet furry friends at Dalmellington Care Centre
P1 enjoyed their 2nd visit to the Care Centre. This time they also got to meet guinea pigs and rabbits.

P1 introduced themselves in the Care Centre. We are looking forward to visiting when the bunnies are there and making Easter crafts with older residents in our community.
Burns, Banter and a Blether!
P6/7 entertained over 50 community partners and guests at our school burns supper. Well done to all performers and thank you to Ellen from the stringed instrument project.
DFS mascot competition
Well done to Aaron from the ECC who guessed Dexter, our DFS mascot’s, birthday. We raised £77 on DFS dress down day and look forward to choosing resources.
Keeping our Community Tidy
The entrance to Graigengillan Estate and The Scout Garden is now free from rubbish thanks to the eco committee. Just in time for visitors arriving to take part in Butterfly Events Hillbilly Cross Country Run this Sunday.
