Our Sponsored Skipathon started today with lots of enthusiastic people! 😀 We had to dodge the heavy showers but we clocked up 50 minutes out of our 3 hours today! ☔️ Fingers crossed for a drier day tomorrow!

We took to the playground on Friday to have our final practice of skipping before our Sponsored Skipathon next week! We have learned so many skipping skills, demonstrating some very fancy footwork including slalom, x-its, scissors, jumping jacks, twister, heel taps and toe taps! We have learned to even slip backwards, whilst doing these moves and created our own routines! Lots of co-ordination required!
P6/7 have been using their skills and next steps in learning to plan ‘Personal Targets’ in Literacy, Numeracy and Health & Wellbeing this week. We used the SMART Target approach to ensure our targets set are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and timed. Pupils have created and designed their targets sheets for in school and have a copy to share with families. Please discuss these together. We will be reviewing our progress throughout this term.
