Today we celebrated Number Day and Fairtrade. We cooked with Fairtrade ingredients and calculated the costs to make the products. We presented our results at assembly. We read letters from Ngoma Basic School in Zambia who we are supporting today with our fundraising as well as raising funds for the NSPCC.
Today we used eggs from Emily’s farm and Fairtrade bananas to make banana muffins. We followed the recipe then wrote out the recipe on our own. Then we got to taste them and they were delicious.
Primary 2/3 enjoyed carrying out activities based on the 2 times table. They had lots of fun playing the various games with their peers. Some of the children even enjoyed taking on the challenge of investigating the 4 times table.
