Today we used eggs from Emily’s farm and Fairtrade bananas to make banana muffins. We followed the recipe then wrote out the recipe on our own. Then we got to taste them and they were delicious.

We were balancing the scales and measuring in grams .
As part of our Social Studies learning we have been learning about food journeys and different types of farms. We were very lucky to have a visitor today, Jean Cuthbertson from Monkland Farm to tell us about her dairy farm.
Today we used Fairtrade chocolate and cocoa to make brownies. We followed the recipe, measured the ingredients out and wrote the recipe out. And of course we tasted it!😄

As part of our learning in numeracy and mathematics we identified and made patterns. We photographed the patterns we found.
Today we were weaving ribbon through turtles. We were learning to create a pattern and think about what ‘weaving’ is as part of our exploration into our topic ‘The Fenwick Weavers.’
Today we enjoyed using Mr Potato head to learn about our body parts in French. We rolled the dice and tried to be the first team to read the words in French and collect all body parts to complete Mr Potato Head.
Today we created parrerns with numbers, shape and colour.
