Masterclass in Science
Investigating camouflage was great fun and inspired lots of discussion.
Patterns in our environment
As part of our learning in numeracy and mathematics we identified and made patterns. We photographed the patterns we found.
Collaborative Working with P2/3 and P6
Today we were weaving ribbon through turtles. We were learning to create a pattern and think about what ‘weaving’ is as part of our exploration into our topic ‘The Fenwick Weavers.’
French- Body Parts
Today we enjoyed using Mr Potato head to learn about our body parts in French. We rolled the dice and tried to be the first team to read the words in French and collect all body parts to complete Mr Potato Head.
Numeracy Creating patterns
Today we created parrerns with numbers, shape and colour.
IDL- Fenwick Weavers
We worked together in groups to create and design posters advertising Fairtrade. We researched Fairtrade and used our ICT skills to create posters.
Numeracy
Primary 2/3 enjoyed carrying out activities based on the 2 times table. They had lots of fun playing the various games with their peers. Some of the children even enjoyed taking on the challenge of investigating the 4 times table.
Materials
Today we were learning about the properties of materials and then we used material to weave.
