World Book Day – Thursday 5th March 2026

This year, our World Book Day theme is Reading for Enjoyment.

The children will take part in a range of exciting literacy and reading activities throughout the day, including The Masked Reader, creating reading dens, designing bookmarks, and much more. We will also be exploring the wonderful The Colour Monster stories as part of our celebrations.

Children are welcome to dress up or dress down for the occasion. Our theme is “Dress in What Makes You Happy.” This could be their favourite outfit, their nursery clothes, or even dressed as a book character — whatever makes them feel happy and comfortable.

Please note: no club football colours, please.

We are delighted to be able to provide an information session on Mini-MISP.

Parents and Carers are warmly invited to join the session to find out more about the Massage Programme, to discuss the fundamental principles and boundaries surrounding the Mini-MISP and to ask any questions which they may have.

The first part of the session is for Parents/ Carers only. ECC staff will then bring your child along to the session.

🎃👻Halloween celebrations this week in Fenwick ECC 🎃👻

🎃25/10/23 (today) – Story and Rhyme Time for the Rainbow Group 9.15 – 9.45am.

🎃26/10/23 – Story and Rhyme Time for the Star and Sunshine Groups 9.15 – 9.45am.

🎃 27/10/23 – Halloween Party, children can dress up if they wish.

🎃We will have lots of fun Halloween experiences through the week.

🎃 The Halloween Costume Swap is available in the ECC corridor. Please take a costume if you would like one.

We were so lucky to have Jacqueline from Jiggy Wrigglers visit the Centre to help us celebrate the end of term with a super fun Jiggy Wrigglers Party.

All the children had an amazing time at their Beach Party.

Everyone had lots of fun at our garden party last week.

We had music, dancing, bubbles, an ice cream station and lots of fun experiences.

The children and their grown ups helped Gillian to release some butterflies.  The children have helped to care for these butterflies since they were tiny caterpillars and watched then grow and transform.

Thank you to everyone who came along – it was a lovely afternoon!

How lucky are we to have such a fantastic new addition to our garden?!

The fairies have build themselves a new home in our garden over the weekend ❤️🧚‍♀️🧚🏻🪄
We can’t wait to see what exciting adventures this will bring to the ECC.

Sports Day 2023

We had a fun filled afternoon at our Potted Sports today.
A huge thank you to Mrs Ross, Lynsey Hogg and all of our Primary 5 and 6 Buddies for organising such a wonderful event.
We were also very lucky to see the Sun shining  ☀️.
