The children were so excited when we added real food to the home corner. They created lots of lovely recipes and were keen to share their creations with their friends and grown-ups. Some of the children then used the dressing up resources as they were going to visit the shop for more food. 😊

ECC Eco Group
Thank you to the Parents and family members who have said they would be interested in helping us with our ECO Group. We realise that some people can not come to meetings so we will put the minutes of our meetings online.
Our first meeting will be Wednesday 30th November 9-9.30am. Please feel free to come along and join us.
At the meeting we will come up with our plans for what we will do.
Our meeting will be held in the playroom, on that day just let Joanne know you are coming in to attend the meeting.

ECC PEEP
ECC PEEP Sessions
What is peep? – introduction for parents and carers
We are delighted to announce that starting in the new year Hazel Wills (our Community Practitioner) will be holding PEEP sessions in our Centre.
As a parent or carer, you are your baby or child’s first and most important teacher – they are constantly learning from you, as you chat, play, sing and do all your usual day-to-day things.
Research shows that the simple things you do in everyday life with your child makes a real difference to how they do at school and in later life. And it doesn’t matter how well you did at school, or whether you’re a ‘stay-at-home’ parent/carer or you go out to work.
You can make a positive difference by chatting to your baby or child and leaving gaps for them to respond (even if not words yet!), singing your favourite songs, looking at books or pictures together, and playing during or between your day-to-day activities.
This website will provide you with some more information.

Further information will be provided nearer the time, informing you of when the sessions will be held.
ECC Progress Appointments
Our ECC progress appointments will be held week beginning 28th November. This will be a meeting with your child’s keyworker. Further information will be sent out shortly.
