Pre-school trip (part 1)

Some of the pre-school children from the Chestnut Playroom went on their trip to Eglinton Country Park this afternoon 🌳

We went on the mini bus with Amanda our Community Practitioner, where we had a sing song 🚌

We had some VERY excited children😁

The map helped us to find the path to get to the castle 🗺️

The map took us through the woods where we followed the other maps to guide us on our adventure

We found the castle and had great fun running towards it, exploring and climbing along the walls.

On our walk to the park for our snack, we stopped on the bridge to watch our leaves and twigs flow under the bridge and out the other side

The other group of pre-school children from the Chestnut Playroom will go on their trip on Wednesday 31st May 😊

The Wee Rid Motor – Robert Burns

With Burns day fast approaching on 25th January we will be listening to some Scottish music and Poems over the next few weeks within the ECC.   We have chosen a well known Scottish poem The Wee Rid Motor 🚘 that you can help your child to learn at home if they wish.

You can send us a wee short video of them reciting the poem and as part of our Burns Day Celebrations the children that wish to will have an opportunity to recite the poem for their friends within the ECC.
