It is with great sadness that we can now confirm today is the last day we will have the wonderful Abby Lennox with us at Catrine Early Childhood Centre.

Abby has been instrumental this year, for both the staff and the children and she will be missed so dearly.
Abby has been filling in for our Rena Dornan, who will be re-joining us after the Christmas break!
We wish her well in her new position at New Cumnock ECC, and very much hope to have her back with us before too long.
Good luck and see you later Abby!
Well …… busy is an understatement! I know I say it every month but the past 3 weeks has been jam packed full of fun. Please see below some SWAYs from December 🙂
|
Sherrie was in The Brig learning all about the story of Christmas
|
Abby and her team of “Little Helper’s” were working hard in Santa’s Workshop
|
Whilst in The Square playroom Carrie offered snack each day and once this was tidied away her main focus was on the action songs for our Christmas Carols in the Community. I think you will agree the children all did fantastic – and so did Carrie 🙂
|
Julie and Leoni were exploring Christmas outdoors with the children, both in the community and within our garden areas
|
If your child is in our Voes Room remember to check your child’s Learning Journal for extra photographs on Friday throughout the month.

We would like to welcome Lindsey McCabe to our Catrine team!
Lindsey will be joining us as an Equity and Excellence Lead from January until the Easter holidays. She will be offering extra support to all our children and organising workshops for Parents/Carers and families.
We are very excited to have her on board with us at Catrine Early Childhood Centre.

Thank you to the 9 parent/carers who completed our 2 Stars and a Wish FORM. We are always looking for your views and ideas on how we can improve our service and really appreciate the time you take to try to help us achieve this 🙂
I have collated the information and transferred it onto 2 posters and linked them below.
For easier reading, I have also displayed them in the ECC corridor.
A massive Thank You to the Catrine Bowling Club who have so generously been collecting donations for our nursery and have donated a whopping £141!
We are so grateful for their support, and the continued support of our wonderful community.
Thank you to everyone who came to our Christmas family event on Friday. We raised an amazing £604.50! All of this money will go towards resources and summer events for the children. A special thank you to everyone who donated raffle prizes and Catrine community action group who donated selection boxes for all the children.

‘Following unprecedented demand a further Childhood Flu Vaccination drop-in session will be available later today to accommodate children, who have missed their GP/ community clinic appointment or nursery session’
