Week Beginning 6/9/21

This week children welcomed back bookbug visitor today. All the children participated well singing familiar nursery rhymes and developing their listening skills when being red “my big shouting day”. Nursery rhymes are important for children because it helps to develop an ear for language, the rhymes and rhythm help children hear the sounds and syllables in the words.

The children were eager to explore our colour mixing table where we used food colouring to make new colours by investigating how they changed on kitchen roll.

“I’ve made purple”

”this is cool”

We updated our learning about spider display and have been investigating their webs.
