What a super visit we had to the Halo this morning!
It was brilliant to see inside the building and hear all about it. Lots of us think we would love to work at the Halo when we grow up! We are all now proud Halo Ambassadors. 🏅
Over the next few days, Sharon at the Halo is going to light it up purple for Annanhill. We are looking forward to spotting it when we are out and about! 💜

We finished our World Book Day celebrations today in P2KM. 📗📘📕📙
First, we had a story from author Rachel McGaw, who read us her own book ‘Ruan the Little Red Squirrel’. 🐿️
Next, we joined up with P2H & P2s from Mrs Jarvie and had a book quiz. It was very competitive and we had to go to the final tie breaker! 🏆
We also had our ‘Read the Rainbow’ raffle which was very exciting! 🌈
Seth won in our class and he can choose any book he likes at the school book fair on parents evening. Well done, Seth! 🌟
Finally, Louie’s dad came and read us a story all about a lion. 🦁

‘Killieween’ Celebrations

On Friday 27th October, we celebrated ‘Killieween’ in P2KM. We came in dressed up in our fabulous costumes and did lots of different Halloween activities.

In the morning, we took part in some Halloween P.E. with Joe Wicks and practiced our zombie walks. We then did some Halloween arts and crafts – We used apples cut in half and printed them to create pumpkins and drew scary faces on them. We also completed some Halloween numeracy activities and learned how to draw a cartoon witch.

In the afternoon, we showcased our costumes in a parade to the school before coming back to our class for our Halloween parties. We played games and had snacks, while also ‘dookin’ for apples. We had a great afternoon!
