What a busy and exciting start we have had! We are all settling in well, getting used to new routines and enjoying lots of fun activities to help us get to know each other.
We have read The Dot and loved thinking about how we can ‘make a mark and make it matter.’ We have been learning that it is important to give things a go, try our best and keep going – even when something feels tricky!
In Literacy, we have been working hard on our first phoneme ‘sh’ while in Numeracy we have started exploring and learning all about numbers to 100.
There has been LOTS of excitement about our new DINOSAUR topic! We have been finding out about Mary Anning, the amazing fossil-hunter, and have even used dance and movement to bring some of our learning to life.
It was lovely to welcome so many of our grown-ups into our classroom at Wednesday’s drop-in. We hope you enjoyed getting a little peek into life in Primary 2!
