Primary 7 Residential – Parent/Carer Information Sheet

We are all getting excited about the upcoming P7 residential trip to Ford Castle.

Please find attached a parent/carer information sheet which details everything you need to know for the trip.

LPS – Diary Reminder

Christmas Lunch: Children may wear festive clothing.

Nativity: If you are attending a performance please enter at the front of the building at the fire door. You will be greeted by Primary Sevens who will show you in to the hall to your seat.

Christmas Parties: You child’s party is in the afternoon. Children may come dressed for their party, or bring clothing to change into , or you may take them to change and have lunch between 12.15p.m. returning for 1.00p.m. It is entirely your own choice based on your circumstances. Please let your child, and their teacher, know if they are going home for lunch , in writing or via email.

P1 Party: Parents of P1 children are warmly invited to attend a cuppa and some entertainment from the Senior Choir at 2.00 p.m. as we await the arrival of a very special visitor. Please enter by the front fire door and Primary Sevens will greet you and show you to the hall.

Festive Friday 4: We are celebrating our end of term service in the morning, however we regret to inform you that we do not have any space to invite parents/carers to join us for this.

May we remind all families that we close at 2.30 p.m. on Friday 22nd and take this opportunity to wish all of you a very festive season and look forward to welcoming all of your children back on Monday 8th January 2024.

P7 Assembly: Friday 15th Dec. at 9.30am.

We are looking forward to P7’s assembly on Friday.

Parents and carers should arrive at 9.30am via the main entrance, where you will be directed to the gym hall.

This is an opportunity for P7 to share with their parents/carers a flavour of what they have been learning in class this term.

There will also be an opportunity for you to have a cuppa with your child in the dining hall after they have shared their learning.

We kindly ask for a maximum of 2 parents/carers per child. There is limited space in the hall.

This year’s kindness advent calendar is available to view on Facebook, and X.  We are continuing to encourage the children and young people to be kind to everyone,  If you wish to join in we would love it if you could share any photos of the acts of kindness you may do at home and within the community.
