Following national advice and reports from the Met Office which show areas of East Ayrshire still in an Amber weather zone – and other areas at risk of snow – we are prioritising the safety and wellbeing of our young people and all schools and early childhood centres in East Ayrshire will remain closed to pupils on Friday 2 March 2018.

We anticipate all schools and Early Childhood Centres will re-open as normal on Monday 5 March, but please check EAC website and on social media for the latest updates, given the unpredictable and rapidly changing weather patterns.

Wednesday 28th February: Please note that the school will close at 1.30pm today due to current weather conditions.  Children should be collected via the main school office with immediate effect.

Thursday 1st March: The school will remain closed.

Friday 2nd March: EAC will provide an update via the EAC website after 1 o’clock.  Please check via EAC for all updates on school closures.

World Book Day:  Please note that this event has now been postponed and a further communication will be issued in due course.
