Well done to the children who recently created marvellous pumpkin carvings for the Brass & Granite Town Initiative Competition.  Great effort and great fun had by all!

As we have several pupils and staff within our school who have severe nut allergies, we would be grateful if you could ensure that all snacks and packed lunches sent into school do not contain any products containing nuts (eg. Nutella, chocolate spread, M& M’s, Reese’s Pieces etc).

Exposure to nut contamination can occur when a person handles nuts or nut products as the residual dust/oil can remain on skin for several hours after.  Anaphylaxis is a severe and potentially life-threatening reaction to a trigger such as an nut allergy.

As part of the LPS Community, your co-operation with this matter is much appreciated.

Please note that the P3/2 Class assembly is on Friday 2nd November at 9.15am.  Parent/Carers of this class are welcome to attend.

Reminder:  Friday 26th October is LPS Halloween Day.  Children are welcome to come to school in their favourite Halloween fancy dress outfit.  There is no charge for dressing up however a £1 donation would be grateful appreciated.

School closes on Friday 12th October at 3pm and will re-open to pupils on Monday 22nd at 9.00am.  We hope you all enjoy a fun filled holiday week.
