Green Flag and Clean Green Award

Loanhead pupils have been working hard all year to become a Clean and Green School.  The Eco Committee (P4 pupils) have implemented recycling, planted flowers to attract insects and bees, ensuring we are on our way to becoming an eco-friendly school.

Lexi and Lyle recently attended the Council’s Clean Green ceremony to pick up our awards – a Green Flag award (awarded by Keep Scotland Beautiful) and a Bronze Highly Commended (awarded by the Council).

A big thank you to Mrs Roy who has supported the children in achieving these awards.

Relationships, Sexual Health and Parenthood Lessons

In line with East Ayrshire Council guidance, we are contacting you to inform you that this year as part of the Wellbeing curriculum our children will be learning about Relationships, Sexual Health and Parenthood (RSHP).

Please find attached information letters and leaflets for early, first and second level for your information.

Early Level: ECC to Primary 1.

First Level: Primary 2 to Primary 4.

Second Level: Primary 5 to Primary 7.
