Following national advice and reports from the Met Office which show areas of East Ayrshire still in an Amber weather zone – and other areas at risk of snow – we are prioritising the safety and wellbeing of our young people and all schools and early childhood centres in East Ayrshire will remain closed to pupils on Friday 2 March 2018.

We anticipate all schools and Early Childhood Centres will re-open as normal on Monday 5 March, but please check EAC website and on social media for the latest updates, given the unpredictable and rapidly changing weather patterns.
