Wednesday 27th September was the EA Enterprising Maths Challenge, hosted by Loudoun Academy.
Heather Gemmill, Megan Gemmill, Alice Gemmill and Emma Gemmell represented Auchinleck Academy. The girls put in a very strong performance, managing to WIN the competition with a massive 38 point lead!
This is an amazing achievement for the girls and the first time Auchinleck Academy have managed to win. The girls will now represent East Ayrshire at the Enterprising Maths Scottish final, which takes place at the Glasgow Science Centre on the 28th of November. We are very proud of the girls achievements and wish them every success as they move on to the final stage of the contest.
