All S1 pupils are invited to participate in a day of leadership activities taking place outdoors around the school. Classes will spend the following dates outdoors participating in activities designed to develop skills in leadership, teamwork, communications, problem solving and time management.

Monday 5th September – 1A1

Tuesday 6th September – 1B1

Monday 12th September – 1L1

Tuesday 13th September – 1M1

Monday 26th September – 1A2

Tuesday 27th September – 1B2

This is an excellent opportunity to focus on the development of these skills which are becoming more and more essential in school and beyond and I would urge all pupils to attend the days.

Pupils will require the following equipment on these days:

• waterproof jacket and trousers if you have them
• you will need to wear OLD clothes – you may get muddy and wet
• waterproof boots, wellies or old trainers
• hand towel to dry off at the end of the day
• a bag with a change of clothes.
