AUCHINLECK ACADEMY SUPPORTS JEBBEH KIAZOLU SCHOOL, LIBERIA
Thanks to Auchinleck Academy fundraising led by the school’s Rights Respecting School group, all 309 pupils in Jebbeh Kiazolu Primary School in Liberia are being fed for a full year through the Mary’s Meals school feeding programme.
This 4 minute animation shows how it all works:
Jebbeh Kiazolu School’s Vice Principal for Student Affairs commented that the pupils even want to come to school during holidays, as they know they will be fed, and can concentrate on their lessons.
Auchinleck Academy is grateful to all in the local community who have helped make this wonderful achievement possible, and look forward to continuing the sponsorship next session, together with Cumnock Academy, who will add their support.

Also appreciated is the support for the backpack project as 11 backpacks will be sent to Malawi this month.
