WELCOME TO PRIMARY 4 2023/2024!

Mrs Kidd, Mrs McCall, Mrs Williams and Mrs Cohen would like to welcome everyone back to Onthank Primary 4!

It has been lovely seeing everyone so smartly dressed and beginning to settle into the new P4 routines.

Please click on the tabs at the top of our Home Page then scroll down to see all the Primary 4 information you will need to get this term started off.

We will need your support from home and look forward to building strong and positive relationships to benefit all of our P4 pupils. You should encourage your child to complete their homework tasks each week, checking MS Teams and Bug Club, and to foster a love of reading and inquiry. Your help in supporting your child at home should further develop their self confidence and “have-a-go” mindset in class too.

Happy Hallowe’en

We are having some Hallowe’en activities in class on Friday 28th October 2022. Please feel free to dress up – we have some costumes at reception if you would like one. We kindly ask you not to bring in any accessories such as guns/swords.

Onthank Primary Teams User Guide

Below are a few points to note:

  • Daily posts with work activities will not be used but instead homework will be posted weekly, alongside any other relevant information.
  • In Primary 3 we are using ‘Assignments’, not ‘Class Notebook’ or the ‘Files’ tab therefore you can skip the instructions for these sections.
  • Your class Teams page contains three channels – General, Ask Miss … and Homework.  ‘General’ is where information will be posted. Ask Miss …’ is where you can ask your teacher questions about the homework or any technical issues you are experiencing. ‘Homework’ is where you will find the links to the homework assignments for that week.
  • To respond to your class teacher or peers on any channel, please remember to click ‘reply’ to keep messages under the same conversation and to stop them from jumping around with the potential of accidentally being missed.

If you have any problems, please let your class teacher know and we will do our best to help in any way we can.

Team P3 🙂
