In our class we have been learning about the ship called Princess Victoria. It sank near Larne on its way there from Stranraer. It was a stormy day but they had to sail because they had lots of mail that needed delivered. It was the anniversary of its sinking last week. The Captain’s Grandson put flowers down at the memorial in Agnew Park. The Captain was called James Fergusson.
