Supporting the Health and Wellbeing of all pupils
At NWCC we are committed to working with all of our children, young people and families to support health and wellbeing. One of the big issues we are committed to tackling is bullying. Working with our cluster of schools, community groups and parents, we are beginning to implement an anti-bullying program called KiVa, throughout the upper primary and lower secondary school. To help ensure we are getting this right, I would appreciate it if any parent or carer who has concerns about bullying could complete a short information form. This will allow me to see where the main issues are and also allow the school to respond (where appropriate) to individual cases. The form can be found using the following link, parent contact form or is available in paper format from reception.
I am working with staff in school to provide KiVa training, and I am delighted to be working closely with the parent council on this issue. If you would be interested in joining a parent/carer focus group to look at bullying, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Kind regards
