World Book Day in Primary 1

World Book Day 2025! - Central Foundation Boys' School

Primary 1 invited Primary 6 down to help make bookmarks for World Book Day. We enjoyed having the Primary 6’s down to help with our learning.

The META skills were used were: communicating, collaborating, creativity, focusing, leading, initiative and adapting.

We are going to work together again, this time on music skills.

Community Afternoon – 7.2.25

Primary 5-7 organised a community afternoon where members of our local community came in to play traditional games. The games that were played were:

Snakes and Ladders

Dominoes

Beetle Drive

Bingo

All the pupils had fun playing these games with people who attended. A special mention goes to Olly R who ‘called’ the Bingo all afternoon.

Jaimee P6 said “I enjoyed playing games”.

Rocco (P6) said, “I enjoyed playing games. My favourite game was  the beetle drive”.

Chess Club in Primary 6

Fraser (P6) has been running a chess club every week on a Tuesday at break time. The purpose of this club is to help others learn the skill of playing chess. It also always pupils to develop their META skills, communicating, adapting, critical thinking, collaborating and focusing.
