Heathhall School Open Afternoon – Tuesday 6th September

It was fantastic to welcome parents into school yesterday for our open afternoon. It was great to see parents engaging with what their children were learning in the school setting.

“Plant a Tree for the Jubilee”.

Heathhall School were invited to assist in planting a tree for the Queen’s Jubilee. The Queen’s Green Canopy is a unique tree planting initiative created to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022 which invites people from across the United Knigdom to “Plant a Tree for the Jubilee”.

On Monday 7th March 2022 a small group of pupils from Heathhall, and other members of the community, took part in the tree planting with the Lord Lieutenant of Dumfries, Fiona Armstrong. The tree planting took place at Martinton Road, Heathhall (Across from Nithdale Vets).
