Christmas Elf Stories

Primary 7 enjoyed creating Christmas Elf Stories using Adobe Express.

We all planned out our story and then we used Adobe Express to bring our stories to life. We generated our own elf using AI and then created our own books.

We then shared these stories with Primary 1.

We developed our creativity, leadership, adapting and communicating skills while writing our stories.

Flock Ceramics

Primary 7 were lucky to be chosen to participate in a Flock Ceramics project.

Clare came to visit and told us all about her career using clay to manufacture different objects.

We all got a chance to experiment with the clay and she demonstrated different techniques. We were able to be creative and design our own object.

We then all made our own unique bird which will be displayed as part of a larger art exhibition which we can all visit.

Lauryn – It was really fun and interesting.

Rocco- It was fantastic to get an opportunity to work with clay.

Lawrence – We got to be creative and I loved designing my own unique bird.

Adriana – It was messy and that made it fun.

Digital Winter Week

Primary 7 had great fun developing their digital literacy skills as part of Digital Winter Week Scotland.

We took part in different workshops where we learnt how to design an interesting winter badge on Adobe Express and created a winter snow scene using our coding skills on Scratch.

The activities were quite challenging but it was great to see our finished designs.

It was good to develop our coding skills and learn something new.

Glasgow Science Centre Trip

On Wednesday 19th November we went to visit the Science Centre as part of our topic on Space. When we arrived we had snack and then we went to the iMax cinema where we watched a film. We had to wear special 3D glasses and we thought it was extraordinary!

We then had a chance to explore the first floor where we tried out lots of optical illusions. It was very exciting.

Then we had a break for lunch.

After lunch we went to the second floor and tried out some activities that tested our memory. It was fantastic.

Finally we visited the third floor where there were lots of activities based around the human body. It was brilliant.

Overall we all really enjoyed our day!

Remembrance Service at The Aviation Museum

Primary 7 House Captains and Vice House Captains attended the Remembrance Service at Th Aviation Museum on Friday 7th November 2025.

The pupils were a credit to themselves and the school and in addition to laying a wreath on behalf of Heathhall Primary, they were invited to lay a wreath for the Airborne Veterans.
They were fortunate enough to be invited to have a quick tour including seeing the Spitfire and Jaguar aircraft.
