As part of Maths Week Scotland, we have been doing problem solving and puzzles. We really had to think about known strategies to solve the problems. We worked in twos’ which helped us ‘bounce’ ideas off one another. Have a look at some of our puzzles.

I think this was really good fun. I really enjoyed doing the puzzles they were good fun. I found some easy and some hard! I mostly liked them all. I also think the dominoes one was very good fun!! There was one dominoes station that was a little bit hard but over all everything was good fun!

On the maths week Scotland a man came in to our school and gave us lots of games and puzzles to try and solve. We could go round and try and solve as many as we could. After we finished he came and checked it.

My favourite thing was when you needed to make ten with the wooden sticks. My least favourite thing was the counters and you needed to make the triangle upside down.It was a good day and it was fun.

I really liked enjoyed it all of it was good fun!!!My favourite part was the dominoes there were really fun and I didn’t find them to tricky.

I loved it because I like puzzles. the first one that me and kai did was quite easy but the second one that we did was very hard and we had to get help. but it was still fun working the problems out!

when we did the the maths on the road it was really fun. my favourite game was the cat one where you had three rings and six cats and you had to give each cat a separate space. it was a bit tricky but it was fun going round all the games.
