Duncow Primary Presents – FROZEN JR

What a show!
We are so proud of all our children after our successful show week! What stars they are! They sang, they danced, they acted and all superbly!
Families and friends were mesmerised by their enthusiasm, effort and joy!
The singing raised the roof of Kirkmahoe Church as we travelled back to Arendelle and journeyed with Elsa, Anna, Kristof and Sven (not forgetting our adorable Olaf!). Our towns people and Castle staff were outstanding and kept Westleton and Prince Hans at bay when our poor King and Queen were tragically lost at see!
Everyone went above and beyond and we want to thank all families, staff and pupils for their hard work and effort!
More new reports and interviews with the cast will continue next week! What this space . . .

‘Natural Disasters’ – What a super IDL focus!

We have worked hard learning all about different ‘Natural Disasters’ that have happened in Scotland, Britain and around the world.
From volcano making in science to creating our own designs to send to the council to help prevent flooding at the Whitesands, P4-7 have been very very busy!

Look what is coming…

Disney Frozen JR

We are so excited to inform you that we are well underway with rehearsals and singing! This Christmas you are in for a treat! Yes you are! We are delighted to be preforming Disney Frozen JR, live at Kirkmahoe Church, Kirkton DG1-1ST!

There are 2 performances are priced at £2 (what a bargain!!!) Tickets are available on the door or from Duncow School office.

  • Wednesday 10th Dec 1.30pm-2.30pm
  • Wednesday 10th Dec 6.30pm-7.30pm

  • Our amazing poster designed by Isaac P4

There will be refreshments and a raffle too run by our incredible Parent Council!

Remembrance

A Huge THANK YOU to our pupils past, present and future for showing their respect and support for their community and beyond.
Attending and supporting the Kirkmahoe Remembrance Service on Sunday.
Taking 2 mins to reflect and give thanks at the Ice Hockey on Sunday.
We are very proud of you all.

Fantastic Speech!

Our pupil delivered a brilliant speech today all about nocturnal animals. He was so confident and it was very interesting.

A pupil led the class so well as ‘Teacher’ and Vivi was our amazing photographer today!

We all really enjoyed this speech.
