P1-3 have been learning all about chocolate. We have discovered that chocolate can change from a solid to a liquid, and back again! Today we applied this to water. We learned all about melting and freezing. Our challenge was to free the 10p coin from the ice block as fast as we could. We could choose from different insulating materials to help us, as well as warm water and salt. We discovered that the salt worked really well to melt the ice quickly! We used our meta-skills today, collaborating with others to problem solve. Well done team 🙂 Mrs McCrudden
