We are so thankful to our amazing family who raised £700 for our school by cycling as a family over 100 miles. We are delighted to buy cooking equipment which will allow us to develop our food technology in the school. We cannot wait to get started and for our new oven to arrive! We were thrilled to get cooking on BIG Thursday! Mrs Miller got started and we learned how to make pancakes. We followed the recipe carefully and weighed and measured out the ingredients carefully – even learning to crack an egg! We held the frying pan tightly and got flipping our pancakes, looking out for the special bubbles so they would not burn! We loved them. (Mrs Miller even taught us to wash up after ourselves – the most important part she said!)
We are looking forward to next week – I think we’re making soup! Delicious!!
