P3,4,5 are continuing to widen their knowledge of the body this week and have been learning about the Respiratory System.
We learned about the job of the lungs and the names of the parts of the respiratory system.
We then had a chance to measure our lung capacity by blowing into a Peak Flow Meter. We investigated as to why our readings were all different. Finlay stated that a sporty person’s lung capacity would be bigger than someone that doesn’t do sport. We discussed why this might be true.
