Today some P1-7s were taking part in a Lego Zip Wire challenge.
Mixed age teams of 4 or 5 pupils competed against each other to create a Lego Zip wire to carry Larry the Lego Man a distance of 2 metres across a ‘canyon’
The Success Criteria was very simple, the Zipwire must:
- Carry Larry safely across a ‘canyon’ of 2 metres
- The carrying device must encase Larry for safety reasons
- The zip slide must not come to a crashing stop…ouch!
- Larry must land on the other side in one piece
All the zip slides were fantastic and were judged at the end using the success criteria above. The winning team was Group 3; Ruben, Karol, Baillie, Oscar and James. Well done to you!
