Borgue Achievers 14.5.21
This week we had some super award winners and points winners, who have all been working really hard!
For Brighouse we had Michael and Morann winning the points.
For Ross, we had Jake and Arthur M as the winners!

Mackenzie: for settling back into school so well.

Welcome back!
Term 4 started this week and we welcomed all our pupils back to school for the summer term. We hope everyone had an enjoyable Easter break, and is ready for the last final push!
There is lots to look forward to this term, including exciting new topics, outdoor learning in the woods and Sports Days .

P4-7 had weekly home learning sessions with Feis Rois , and created a sound postcard which can be viewed here on YouTube. Thank you so much to Grant and Kaitlin for all your fun sessions and skill, pulling this all together!

Partnership Assembly 12.3.21
Mrs McDevitt welcomed pupils from across the partnership to another virtual assembly, with one more to go for Easter.
We are looking forward to welcoming back our P4-7 pupils on Monday and can’t wait to see everyone’s happy faces.
We were thinking about thanking people who have helped us during lockdown and Mrs McDevitt would like to thank all of the pupils for their hard work, parents for ensuring that pupils are completing as much as they can, and all the staff in school for keeping the learning and childcare going since Christmas. Everyone has been working hard as a team and and it is very much appreciated.
Auchencairn and Borgue pupils have been featured again recently in the Galloway News , which can be seen on the previous post.
We would love to have more pictures of the lovely pancakes from the kits that were sent home to every pupil last week, along with a Scottish themed book.
We also had some super Pupil of the Week awards, well done to everybody!

World Book Day 4th March 2021!
Both schools celebrated World Book Day on the 4th of March and carried out many book-related tasks, including reading stories to each other, hearing our Head Teacher’s daily story, measuring heights with books, making bookmarks, Masked Reader quiz and reading in unusual places! some P4-7 children also read a story from home via Teams to the P1-3 class in Borgue, which was lovely!

World Book Day vouchers will be coming home with pupils and in home learning packs, ready for the 4th of March- we had extra this time so each child will get 4!
