P7 Host a Wonderful Macmillan Coffee Morning ☕💚
Sheuchan Primary was delighted to welcome members of our school community to our Macmillan Coffee Morning today, hosted by our fantastic P7 pupils.
Our P7 Events Captains worked hard behind the scenes to help organise the event before school, making sure everything was ready to welcome our visitors. Throughout the morning, all P7 pupils took on important roles, taking orders, serving hot drinks, handing out delicious cakes and making sure everyone felt welcome. ☕🍰 This was a brilliant opportunity for our pupils to develop valuable life skills, including teamwork, communication, organisation and customer service. It was wonderful to receive such positive feedback from members of our school community, who commented on how polite, helpful and professional our P7 pupils were throughout the morning. 🌟
This is the first of many events our P7 pupils will organise throughout the year, and they have certainly made a fantastic start! We were also delighted to welcome our Sheuchan Nursery children, who proudly delivered the donation from their own Macmillan Coffee Morning.
Later in the afternoon, the whole school joined in the celebrations as every child enjoyed a drink and a cake together. It was lovely to see everyone taking part and supporting such an important cause. 💚
The generosity shown by our families, staff and wider school community has been incredible, and we are so grateful for everyone’s support. Our final fundraising total is still being counted, and we can’t wait to reveal how much we’ve raised for Macmillan Cancer Support very soon. Every donation will help Macmillan continue to provide vital support to people affected by cancer and their families. 💚

We are so proud of our P7 pupils for leading the way and creating such a welcoming event for our school community. ☕✨
