Our Pupil Leadership Groups

At Sheuchan, we want our children to have a strong voice and opportunities to make a positive difference. Our pupil groups meet regularly throughout the year to take action, lead change and develop a wide range of meta-skills and skills for learning, life and work.

🌱 Sustainability Squad

Helping to make our school and community more environmentally friendly. The group will help lead our work towards becoming part of Eco-Schools Scotland.

💻 Digital Detectives

Developing the knowledge and skills children need for living, learning and staying safe in a digital world, while helping to promote positive use of technology across the school.

⭐ Rights Rangers

Helping everyone learn about and understand children’s rights as we develop our work through the Rights Respecting Schools approach.

💚 Wellbeing Warriors

Promoting positive wellbeing across the school and helping us find ways to make sure children feel happy, included, supported and listened to.

🏠 House Captains

Our P7 pupils have opportunities to apply for a range of leadership roles across the school, including becoming House Captains. Our House Captains help to lead and represent their House Teams, encourage participation and support activities and events across the school. These opportunities help our P7 pupils develop responsibility, teamwork, leadership and skills for learning, life and work.

Our pupil leadership groups are organised through our House Teams and rotated, allowing more children to experience different roles and develop a broad range of skills.
