Our School Improvement Priorities 2026–2027

At Sheuchan Primary and Nursery, we are always looking at how we can continue to improve learning and experiences for all of our children.

This year, our improvement work has two key areas:

Raising Attainment & Achievement
We are focusing on developing numeracy and mathematical thinking, alongside high-quality teaching and feedback. In our Nursery, this begins through fun, practical and play-based maths experiences.

Wellbeing & Children’s Rights
We will continue to support children’s wellbeing, resilience, relationships and understanding of their rights, while giving them opportunities to have a voice in their learning and school experience.
