This afternoon all the boys and girls headed along to Leswalt Church for our annual Christmas Service with Reverent Marlene. She shared with us about the story of Christmas and the importance of celebrating love with friends and family.
The 6 volunteers told a story about the beginning of Christmas celebrations through sweeties!
- Galaxy Chocolate representing the Galaxy God created🌌
- Sour Haribos representing Adam and Eve’s sin🍬
- Love hearts representing the love ❤️
- Jelly babies representing God’s son – baby Jesus👶
- Starbursts representing God’s sign to the 3 Kings⭐
- Liquorice All-Sorts representing God’s acceptance of everybody👥
We shared 3 of our favourite songs from the school show; ‘This Place is Jumping, ‘Christmas Time is Here’ and ‘Stop that Knocking’🎄. And just as Reverent Marlene said, we enjoyed sharing a wholesome afternoon together celebrating Christmas!❤️
From everybody at Leswalt Primary, we wish everybody a Christmas filled with love and happiness and love forward to welcoming the boys and girls back to school on Tuesday the 6th of January 2026 (?!)😀.
