Welcome

It was lovely to see so many familiar faces today and to begin to get to know our ten new children and their families.
We are able to share photos here of some of the children on their first day in Nursery. Once we have blog permission slips returned from all our new children, we will able to share more photos and examples of their work here. We hope that you will find this a valuable insight into the life of our Nursery and that you can use the blog to add comments about your child’s experience.
Simply click on the word “comment” under the title of each post if you wish to leave a comment. Please be aware that these will not appear immediately, as they are monitored by the administrator before publication, but you should see your comment within a day or two.

Welcome

We would like to welcome Miss Chelsea Currie to our Nursery. Miss Currie is a Nursery Nurse and will be working in the Raindrop Room on a Wednesday while Mrs. Maxwell attends her course. Some of you may remember Miss Currie from last year in our Nursery. We are delighted to have her back with us and hope that she enjoys her time with us.

Welcome To New Staff

We would like to extend a very warm welcome to all our new staff who started this term. An increase in hours meant that we needed to expand our staff and we are delighted that, after interview, we were able to add the staff below to our team. Mrs. Stott and Mrs. J. Carruthers will be familiar faces to you all but they are now in new roles. We congratulate all the new staff, wish them well in their posts and look forward to working with them all in the future.

Start Of Term

Tomorrow, Monday 7th January, will be the start of term and we are looking forward to seeing everyone again, along with the twelve new children who will also be getting ready for their first day. We hope that they are excited to be starting Nursery and are looking forward to making new friends. No doubt everyone will make them feel welcome and we hope that this is the beginning of a happy experience for the children and their families.
Our extended sessions start from tomorrow so we look forward to seeing you from 8.00 onwards depending on your chosen hours.

Welcome

We would like to welcome two Dumfries College students to our Nursery. Nikita Blair and Sheree Robinson are undertaking their HNC Childhood Practices qualification. Nikita will be with us on Mondays and Tuesdays with Sheree joining us on Wednesdays and Thursdays. We wish them well on their placements and hope that they enjoy their time with us.

Welcome

As we start a new year, we would like to warmly welcome two new members of staff to our Nursery. Miss Emma Fleming and Miss Rhianne McHarrie are Early Years Support Assistant Trainees and will both be working in our Nursery full time. They are looking forward to being part of our team and we are delighted to welcome them to work with our children and their families.
