Busy Children

Joshua and Nancy’s Mum has been looking over our photos from the last few weeks.

“Joshua loved burns day, especially the irn bru  🤣 xx” and
“Joshua loves to do “cheers”” 😊 x”

She also liked the photos of Nancy working with friends to make our Chinese dragon.

“Nancy concentrating very well. Well done my baby girl” 😀 and “Nancy looks like she is waiting so patiently to have her turn at decorating with some glitter 😊 “

Thank you for taking the time to leave us comments. It’s good to know that our families are using the blog.

Reading Together New Dates

As we were disappointed that our families missed the opportunity for our reading together sessions last week, due to the adverse weather, we have rearranged the parent and child reading times for this Thursday 8th March (11.35 and 2.40), and Friday 9th March (11.35). We hope to see you then to share stories with your children.

Having Fun

Crue’s family has been enjoying the photos of the children doing their Daily Mile with Primary 6:

“Crue looks like he’s having fun”

They do really seem to all enjoy each other’s company and chat away the whole time. We have a few more activities planned with Primary 6 so I’m sure that they will enjoy themselves together again.

Share Your Stories

We are all missing the children, due to the Nursery and school closure, but it is important that everyone stays safe in these adverse weather conditions. We are looking forward to hearing what you have been doing in the snow when we return hopefully on Friday.
It would be great if you shared your stories here on the blog too – just click on ‘0 comments’ under our title above (“Share Your Stories”) to let us know what you have been doing at home.

Book Fair

We would like to remind you that the Scholastic Book Fair is in school on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Families can visit this in the school foyer and adjoining room to see the books on offer from 8.45 until 9.15 and 2.45 until 3.30. There looks to be a lovely selection of books so it is well worth a visit. We hope that you are able to pop in for a visit.

Keeping Children Safe Online

We would like to remind you of the invitation to our NSPCC Adult Workshop to raise awareness of the best way of keeping children safe online. This will be held tomorrow, Tuesday 6th February at 2.00 in school. All adults from within the school community are welcome to attend and we hope that you find this useful.
