Well Done Ben!
Ben’s family enjoyed seeing him on the blog with his well-earned certificate:
“Ben was very pleased to be presented with his certificate, his mummy, daddy & big sisters were extremely proud of him! Keep up the good work :0) well done to the other girls & boys getting their certificates too. (They are lovely certificates)”
We’re glad you like our new certificates and well done to everyone who has received one so far.
Congratulations
Last week’s certificate winners got their awards for a range of achievements and they were all thoroughly deserved. We feel sure that their families will be as proud as we are of everything they have achieved. Well done boys and girls and keep up the good work.
Lovely Manners
Last week our Health and Wellbeing focus was on manners and being kind to others. These children were deserving certificate winners for showing lovely manners and being helpful in Nursery so well done to them all.
Remembrance Day
The children in Nursery joined the rest of the school in standing silently for Remembrance Day. They came from snack, from the outdoor area and from their play to join together in their silence. As you can see, they all showed themselves to be very grown-up and took the occasion seriously. Well done boys and girls – we are very proud of you.
Chocolate Sparklers
Callum’s family left us a comment on the recent Family Learning activity:
“Callum and Gran really enjoyed the session. The chocolate sparklers went on daddy’s birthday cake and looked really fab. Thank you Eileen.”
That was lucky for Daddy getting something extra special on his cake. Well done Callum and, of course, Gran.
Congratulations
It’s always difficult to choose children to receive certificates in recognition of their achievements as so many shine in different ways. These recent award winners should certainly be proud of their certificates as they were thoroughly deserved. Well done to you all.
Hallowe’en Fun
Our Hallowe’en parties seemed to go down a treat last week with everyone. We dooked for apples, caught marshmallows with our teeth, played lots of games and enjoyed party food together. Thanks to everyone for dressing the children in their super outfits which added to the fun. We hope you can get a flavour of the morning party from our photos. We will do our best to get the afternoon ones posted soon.

Dens In The Rain
Regardless of weather, most children love outdoor play and work well together to use the resources available to them. As you can see from these photos, the last day of term brought some very heavy showers which inspired the children to build a den to help them stay dry. They showed great perseverance despite the conditions and were pleased with the shelter that they built.
Sunshine Cooking
The cooking skills of the Sunshine Room matched those of the Rainbow Room towards the end of term when they also learned to make apple crumble. The children listened well to follow instructions and produced tasty crumbles from their hard work. I wonder if anyone’s having a go at some cooking in the holidays?
