It has not taken long at the start of a new term for the children in the Sunshine Room to get their suits and boots on to join in the outdoor play. As you can see, they are looking confident to sample the activities in our garden, regardless of the weather. As part of our transition work, Primary 6 children have begun to visit Nursery to play and build relationships with our children. They have shown great enthusiasm and skills with the younger children. Thank you Primary 6 for doing a great job on your first visit. Keep up the good work – the Nursery children enjoyed your visits and are looking forward to seeing you again soon.

A fun time was had by all at our Christmas parties with something for everyone, be it games, dancing or party food. The children were also delighted to have a visit from Santa, despite it being such a busy time of year for him. Thank you Santa – we all really appreciated your visit.

Christmas arrived recently in Nursery when the Christmas trees appeared and the children decorated them with the decorations that they had made themselves. Both the Sunshine and Rainbow rooms worked hard and we think that they made a great job of their trees. Please have a close at their work in Nursery to see if you agree.

We would like to thank everyone who has donated prizes to the Nursery hampers as part of our school and Nursery fundraising activity. As you can see, our hampers are full of tasty goodies and will make super prizes for some lucky winners.
As the Christmas Fayre approaches (Thursday, December 7th), we ask that any final donations are brought in as soon as possible so that we can wrap our hampers ready for the prize winners. Thank you to all those who contributed through donations and by selling squares. We appreciate your support
