Well Done, Summer’s Daddy

We hope that the children have enjoyed seeing the photos of their special visitors from Summer’s Daddy’s farm. Imogen’s family were kind enough to leave a lovely comment:

“Imogen loved seeing the animals and was very, very excited. She told us about it in great detail! Well done to Summers dad.”

It certainly was a day to remember.

Bethany’s Dragon Travels to Ireland

Bethany’s family seemed to like her Chinese dragon and commented on her photo:

“Bethany made another Dragon for her Grandparents in Ireland. Her Aunty Sarah was so impressed she used it to inspire her Primary School students in her Afterschool Art Club. So those Dragons certainly have travelled far and near.
A big thankyou to all involved, you’re doing a great job!”

It’s great to hear that Bethany is acting as a Hecklegirth Dragon Ambassador. I wonder if Aunty Sarah’s children’s dragons were as good as yours? Keep up the good work Bethany!

Miss Awde will be leaving the Sunshine Room now but the children in the Rainbow Room will be pleased that she’s coming to spend the rest of the term with them so we hope that you have lots of fun with her. We have also heard that Miss Kerr is feeling better and will be back to see you all so no doubt everyone will be excited about that.

It’s good to see that you are enjoying our blog at home. We have had two recent comments on our Chinese New Year learning.

Lewis: “I really enjoyed learning about Chinese New Year. I really liked eating my noodles with chopsticks.”

Neve’s Mummy: “Neve has really enjoyed learning all about the Chinese New Year, she has loved coming home showing us her writing of numbers in Chinese. Great topic for the children to learn about. X”

Roxy’s Mum also left her a lovely comment when she was recently awarded a Hecklegirth Star Award:
“Im so proud of my little girl , well done xxx”

Thank you to everyone who takes the time to leave a comment. We really appreciate it.

Miss Kerr will be so happy to get your messages. I’m sure you’ll be making her feel a lot better.
The photos were good in the paper – it makes such a difference when they’re in colour too.

Burn’s Day Comment

We’re glad to hear that Bethany’s Mum likes her Burn’s Day photo. Well done Granny Thomson with the tartan – Bethany looked great.

“What a super photo! Thanks must go to Granny Thomson for sewing the tartan onto Bethany’s top! We really enjoyed the singing and Granny was glad she got to hear it too.”
